Once again, Tanner confuses the title of "best" with "most eclectic". |

Yeah... I don't think there's much separation among the top 8 D in the west, though. |

1. Burns - on another level scoring-wise
2. Subban - Does absolutely everything and will get more notice after last season's run.
3. Tie - Roman Josi who is debatably the best defenseman on the Predators along with P.K. OEL - Even though I've seen Josi go by him like he was a pylon. Doughty - does it all.
Can't believe that folks are putting Klefbom, Hamilton and especially Lindholm ahead of these guys. There is amazing defensive talent in the West and it is becoming more and more important to have three or more really good ones. |

And especially Lindholm ???? You need a new pair of glasses buddy if you think that's some kind of stretch - |

Don't get me wrong, Lindholm is great and might make Top Five in the East but there is no way he is ahead of these guys. |

Tessier......I am super dissapointed with your list. No Trouba? No Byfuglien? No Myers?
Your list is terrible!!!

Probably somewhere after Karlsson, Hedberg and Letang. |

There are probably 6-8 guys who should be on a top 5, after Doughty, OEL, Burns, Keith, you have solid picks in PK, Josi, Gio/Hamilton, Byfuglyn, and even Suter. Guys like Fowler, Ellis, Parayko all are top level D as well.
He may have taken a step back with age but any list without Keith is a bad list IMO |

Easier said than done with that level of ineptitude. |
